DOES NOT LAST

A finger traces velvety flesh
A button of pleasure to forget and digress
Liquid flows from a crevice so deep
The essence of her might soon deplete

Vehement desire of amorous touch
Reveals clearly its absence and as such
A pensive gaze upon her spent face
Loneliness has now taken that quick joy's place

Holding On

Heavy on my heart
Like a boat with a hole at the bottom
Water seeping in, it’s sinking,
Sinking…
Captain’s got to go down with the boat
But he’s secretly waiting for rescue
He’s hiding at the tallest point,
Fearful, weary,
Breaking down.
