Regarding your photo, I personally would choose the third on you have. There's a small inkling of a smile that can be seen in your eyes, plus it's a lot clearer than the colour one you have.

Use capitalization. The word "I" should be upper case.
The first word of every sentence should be capitalized.
The lack of capitalization makes you look lazy. If you are too lazy to use capitalization that makes me wonder if you are a lazy person.

This goes for everyone, black and white pics may look great but they hide the real you. What I mean is, they hide the wrinkles and creases that are the real you.
Get a couple of full body shots. You state "average" in your stats but every one has a different idea as to what average is.
