Actually, it is a waste of time. Spend less time on the computer and more time attending events and socializing amongst the kind of folk you want to meet in real life. If the pics on your profile are really of you(and still represent what you look like now lol) and you are really as cheerful and outgoing as you say, then you'll meet a really decent guy in no time and he will even live relatively close to you.
I think there are a ton of profiles here and that makes it very difficult to get noticed unless you are very pro-active about contacting people yourself. In other words, if you simply put up a profile, sit back and wait for people to write you tons of mail it probably isnt going to happen. You'll be lucky to be checked out at all. You actually have to spend a fair amount of time on line trying to contact others for yourself. Thats my take on it anyway. Good luck to you Jasmine.
Thanks Niah, I posted the photos of my leg(and its scar) mostly for fun and because I couldnt think of anything else to post AND because they showed a bit of my upper torso and everyone on these kind of sites is curious about that right? Arnt we all a little suspicious when theres only one pic and its from the neck up? Anyway, no it has nothing to do with baggage. Im eager to recover and make it a memmory lol!
I guess I have to agree with the other fella's comments. Your profile communicates simple needs. You also sound a little lonely but couldnt the same be said about all of us just for being on a singles site? Also, theres nothing wrong with keeping it simple. Good luck Corker...
