Hi, thanks for stopping by. my name is Al and I have a great sense of humour. I work in a stressful environment so you can only guess that humour is a big part of making the day go by easier. I can also be very serious , but only when I have to be. I have run some of Canada's finest hotel kitchens. My passion is food. After being on my own for the last 8 yrs I have decided it is time to find that special person to share life's ups and downs with. I like being outdoors or just staying in and watching a movie or not reading a book. Lol. I have 4 great kids. Two are out on their own and two are at home with their mom. I have a great friendship with their mother. Life is way too short to be upset at anyone. I spend as much time as I can with my kids. They are my world. And they all have my sense of haha, so when we are together it is just plain nuts. I am quite spontaneous I can wake up in the morning and decide it is time for a road trip and be in another city or province by evening, spend a day or two and then come home. I have issues with flying. Last time I flew I asked for a seat in the little black box. The woman kind gave me that look. Which only got more bizarre when I explained my choice of seating. I like a good glass of wine on occasion but absolutely do not drink lots. I do smoke but, I am trying very hard to quit. I am down to 3 or 4 a day which is a big achievement for me. Thank you!!
