I have been described by friends as a bit of an introvert with soul but possess some Peter Pan like qualities. I am by nature extremely loyal, not fearful of expressing emotion, and enjoy the romanticism of courtship and falling in love. I am a tactile person who enjoys the warmth of companionship in front of a log fires, especially during cold winters nights. I have sense of humour I think myself well- grounded and enjoy having family and friends who have stood by me during the low points in my life. I enjoy the company of long established friendships at gatherings and BBQ’s where you can meet and engage with new people. I have travelled quite a bit both abroad but now I am more into shorts holidays within my own country as I think we have so much more here to experience. I particularly like spending time at the river. I am not a dancing person (only a clumsy two step shuffle to a slow song) and I am not into loud entertainment, e.g. Live Heavy Rock Concerts. I hope to go fishing and perhaps recommence playing lawn bowls very soon. I enjoy watching my two grandsons grow and want to be part of their lives. I have been given a second chance at life after some serious surgery and intend to live it as best I can.
