I am very kind, understanding, open-minded, and appreciative of my life. I grew up hating myself for the majority of my life after many years of being bullied at school and at home by siblings. I have been trying to piece myself back together in the manner that I choose. I have developed respect and compassion for myself and the world. I don't see anything as a failure but as a way to learn and to grow and to be of service unto others. I love learning and reflecting and having time alone. I've developed a deep friendship with myself and others. I love to compete against myself, be it by trying to beat my exercise times or by improving my writing, you name it. I just enjoy challenging myself on a regular basis. I enjoy public speaking but I am working to conquer my social anxiety and other challenges. I am pretty open about myself because after years of being shamed and internalizing all of that shame, the only way I have found to heal is to come face to face with my basic human nature and my vulnerabilities.
