Still in school working on my PhD. Should be done with it pretty soon. To finish school faster, I had to stop doing other fun stuffs such as blogging, DIY projects and the biggest thing which was a startup. I was (and still am) an electronics engineer and software engineer (both professionally and as a hobbyist). Also very much interested in Physics (Astrophysics - radio astronomy to be specific). If you are not into any of those things, its fine. These are only what I am interested in and don;t expect you to have a PhD in these topics. I used to enjoy playing musical instruments (synthesizers and string instruments). But it has been more than a decade that I remember anything now.
Other than being a nerd by working in a lab, I do compete in power lifting competitions and any other fitness related stuff I can get into (my weight to strength ration is pretty impressive - don't judge a book from its cover). Great love for nature. Enjoys cycling (both outdoor and indoor/spin).
I do experiments in my kitchen which I call it cooking. For the most part, the outcome is success. My ranking for food is based on taste and quantity. Actually, I am getting pretty good at cooking over the past few years.
I love animals that loves me back. (Therefore, pet friendly?). Volunteer every year at the Novi pet expo (a week or two before Thanksgiving). I do indulge in random things like buy food for homeless, fly kites, go for long walks, talk on ham radio, day dream on my throne and shower, re-watch favorite movies again and again, pick electronics wastes from dumpster and fix them and use them.
I'm really bad at telling lies and I know that, and because of this I pretty much just share what I truly feel. May sound rude, but it is much better than telling a lie and get caught, right?
