I'm a transplanted Vermonter - originally fr/ Massachusetts, moved here in 2011 after divorce. I'm truly a Yankee, with family that goes back to MA. roots beginning 1630 or so. I tend to be a quiet person, but can hold my own in a crowd. I prefer the company of a loyal companion to multiple people, but haven't had the good luck I'm still hoping for!
Love animals, have always had wonderful pets, all rescues, and have volunteered many hours at an animal shelter, in my previous life. Into a good concert once in a while, Raul Malo & The Mavericks, Dwight Yoakam; I'm all over the map w/ music I love to hear! Enjoy a ski trip each year, usually to my place @ Lake Tahoe, but have been to many other destinations, not just skiing, and hope to find someone who enjoys the same..
I read a lot for entertainment, especially during the longer winter nights we have here; I find that a good book fills the void that loneliness creates, but only to a certain point. I'd love to lay in bed and cuddle next to someone as I turn the pages..
