couldn't help seeing this and thinking of the Ralph Macchio / Sonny Terry / Steve Vai film "crossroads"...as you probbibly know, Ry Cooder did the RM guitar parts in the now legendary "face off" between good and evil, you have to wonder if they might have put the film off a couple of years and cut out the "middle men"...

It’s just amazing… pure talent and an incredible feel for the instrument. At the beginning of the year I was unaware of Derek Trucks, again he’s come to light from the ’Crossroad Festival’ DVD…. I have known about his wife Susan Tedeschi a lot longer…she always got good reviews in Mojo magazine. I think they make a lovely couple and work so well on stage together:
