There was a programme on channel 4 (or 5 or one of the bbc's 3/4, sorry to be so vague) about an elephant that did "Modern art"...
The programme set out to have "Lulu", do a couple of "pieces" and then to have them shown at an upmarket gallery gala for up and coming and new artists...
As you might guess, Lulu's art was not listed as "work by an indian elephant", more lets wait and see what the critics and "experts" said...bless her, she beat the lot of them, and while she was never going to a household name (are painters household names?), she was the star of the show...
Right, I have two dogs, a box of crayons and a pad of A4 (and some monkeys and typewriters and a few books by shakespere)...
Wish me luck... im going to need it!.....

George Orwell's Animal Farm comes to mind... those dear animals could teach us human's a thing or two... a chimpanzee to run for parliament... now that's an idea... well they usually make a monkey out of us all in the end!
