RE: Star Wars Trilogy

Genius and Ingenius storytelling by a Master (George Lucas). Unrivalled and we were lucky to have such a creative mind in this era.

May the force be with you, always. head banger

RE: star wars

Star Wars is an Epic creation from a great visionary (George Lucas). It may not push the boundaries of Physics but it does for storytelling. I'm a big fan.

RE: Star Wars Trilogy

I will say hand on heart , star wars has been a major part of my life ever since being six years old in 1977, i always say the week before i saw Sinbad and the eye of the tiger ,then a certain independent film ,you might have heard of it , it was called Star Wars and it changed my life ...my mother would tell you the same apart from the pestering i did ...how did i know such a film would influence my life so much , to tell you the truth ,growing up in the seventies was a groundbreaking time , and Star Wars is testiment to this ..you hear it so changed films forever and its really true ..ILM and George Lucas really turned everything .... Its now gone many films , many tv series and film specials all dedicated to the what is really termed as the George Lucas sandbox ...

i could really write so much on the subject but you see my home its all Star Wars .....ive collected for 27 years , i know a incredible amount about the two trilogies and i am a very stern critic about the franchise and I've attended conventions , my collection is worth thousands ....i am also a member of Rancho Obi Wan which is a non profit organization which i am very proud to belong to...

anyone willing to discuss or know me feel free ....

RE: Silent Running

This is my favorite movie of all time , not because of the famous robots or the fact ,Bruce Dern is more less a hippie in space ,its the whole message all over the film.....it conveys a ecological message and not many films are made like this anymore , yes it retains a cult following , but it really is a wonderful and beautifully made film , if you forget the now dated special effects .... It was ahead of its time , it was fresh and very still underated ....

always worth watching .....

RE: When Harry Met Sally

This movie is the reason why I started online dating. I even joined AOL in 1998, cruising all the chatrooms to find my "Joe, just Joe." He never showed up though, lol.

RE: The Professor and the Madman

great movie!!!

Nocturnal animals

I think this movie talks about betrayal in a very original way. The deep pain of betrayal, and the wrong choice, rather than the content, the aesthetics.

Jennifer Anniston is great in this movie.detective

RE: When Harry Met Sally

I absolutely adore this movie... <3

RE: Scent Of A Woman

One of those movies that you will always remember. The tango scene, the way he describes the smell of women and for that matter all the one liners. Sometimes I find myself in normal circumstances in life, remembering a line or scene out of the movie. GREAT MOVIE and Al Pacino, great acting as always.

I love Ben Elton's parody on the sick cowards who 'enjoy' a movie like that.
