Look at the old testament with Leviticus and many bizzare killings it invokes, but we have changed. So is the Koran, they are revered as though it is truly a work of God. Might have been inspired by God because I am sure there are more provisions of good than bad. But that is why it has to be adaptable to our needs, to be humble, kind, good and generous to all. So yes. Let us start reinforcing the belief that no God would ever teach man to be killing others in any way shape or form.
I learn so much from your post String and thanks for this. Not because it feeds my senses to be a hate monger but that I will understand why these people do act and kill. Perhaps we should take all the terrorists in the world and show them with love and all the good things that life offers and then brainwash them and realize that killing people for whatever reason is not a call for humanity.

Let me bat in a little bit on the being paid, just because I am one of those that are here, although not 24/7, quite a lot specially with the new events.
I don't get paid, I just find it a very healthy place for me to learn and know a lot of things. First I save money from not subscribing to papers and magazines anymore to rely on news. I don't watch TV very much. But yes, I am here because it is my obligation as an individual to get involved on affairs like this. I thank the site for having this segment where we can express our minds. The dynamic is very good and I choose my topic as you can imagine mostly current events and religion.
Now I do have a life. I am happy traveling and attending to my lovely children and grand children as well as working part time. Retired and rather do this than going to Las Vegas which I used to do a lot.
