Not sure how to post pictures, but it takes me 2-3 weeks to fill a grocery store sized bag, or longer in the summer. A standard size garbage can with a bin liner can take 2 months or more to fill.
Being winter I don't do as much composting, seeing as I can't get anywhere near the compost bin with all the snow. Everything else gets recycled, which I've been doing for decades, long before it became "fashionable" to do so.
It's been a decade, curious to see if anyone has anything to ad to this thread. A lot has changed here in Canada, and a lot has also remained the same.
Seperation has once again reared it's head, Wexit, although I still can't see it happening.
We have the Canadian record for most snow in a day, and in a season here in BC. 24 1/2 meters (just over 80 feet) in the Revelstoke area 3 hours north of me in one winter. I'd hate to have to shovel that much.
At least I have a snowblower, I just don't wanna go outside. It's nice and warm in here by the wood stove.
We've been getting lots of snow here as well, but being in the mountains, it's expected, and normal. We just didn't get it all at once like you guys did, and none of those high winds, thankfully. I'm running out of places to pile the snow already, that usually doesn't happen until the end of February.
