The only person getting all the accolades now is Kobe Bryant who is a basketball player who won a lot of awards. People are going on and on about how wonderful he was but they forget that he was charged with assaulting a hotel worker. He never went to trial because the case settled out of court. After the settlement he bought his wife a 4 million dollar diamond as his way of apologizing to her for his action in the hotel.

Kobe, his daughter Giana and 7 other people affiliated with basketball were in a helicopter crash and all 9 people died. The helicopter never should have been flying because of heavy fog. Even law enforcement helicopters were grounded but Kobe wanted to get where he wanted to go by helicopter instead of car. He was reckless with all 9 peoples lives.

There is a lot of uproar in social media that the other 7 people are being forgotten. All 9 were going to a basketball game that the teenagers were playing in. Some of the adults were parents to those children and some were coaches for the team.

This going to go on and on for months just like it did for Aretha Franklin. The only people who deserve accolades like that are those who find a cure for cancer or some other diseases. He was a basketball player that won trophies for his team and a lot of money for his bank account and I would respect that but he was also a man who assaulted a woman in a hotel and I can't forget about that. One of the women that died had one child on the helicopter and three more at home. The fault isn't 100% on Kobe, it's on the company who owns the helicopter. They never should have cleared it for takeoff when the fog was so dense it looked like milk and as I said the police helicopters wouldn't go up because it was too dangerous.
