Many businesses are posting.."No tipping here" signs in the cities.. Just read that yesterday...some owners feel its not necessary, that they should pay their employee's enough so its not left up to consumers to pick up the slack in wages..
I dont know about anyone else or other countries..
But I do tip people who deliver goods to my home, whichever industry they work in, IF they are good at their job. That's just me though, I feel it creates a good rapport with them and I know they appreciate it. As I would...
Sometimes I even give them a great tip........."dont eat yellow snow"
I do believe in tipping, as I have worked at those jobs in the past. But I only tip if the service is good, my order is right, and they are pleasant. I quit tipping the pizza guy, because they already charge for delivery, plus they kept getting my order wrong ...How can you screw up an online order?..tell me that.. 4 times in a row too!
When I bartended though, I used to make close to $100 bucks in 3 hours..
