Yes I'm still hoping for that arrow to hit me... ...depends where that is tho I've met some wonderful people off sites in real life, if it wasn't for the internet, I wouldn't of met otherwise
I can honestly say I have met some wonderful people online in real life for dating, altho there were no sparks per se..we are still good friends til this day ..as for recognizing lies, I'm not the one to ask
They're putting a new door on my apt, due to someone breaking in from last tenants, so frame was all busted up. Been over 3 hours now.. so my apartment is wide open for all to see Good thing I'm moving out
In 1980 my son was 1 year old, me 20. One morning hanging out his nappies I knew he was with me, yet I knew things went silent within seconds. I called frantically and ran and he was rolling over in the swimming pool drowning. I pulled him out, being winter he was in winter clothes and little hug boots, going blue I ran out to the middle of the road screaming for help. whilst pounding him on his little back to breathe scream anything. Ambulance arrived and so much water he spewed up; taken to hospital wrapped in crunchy paper he survived.
In those days no fencing was law, being young I didn't know, For years I blamed myself..
If I had not that gut instinct, to always call out to him. He would have died.
Sophie ..Im glad your son made it through! One of the most terrifying times in my life was when my dad was driving in Ontario(he was drunk)with all of us kids in the car..I remember looking up from the back seat, a semi was coming towards us, he swerved and hit a telephone pole..literally wrapped the car around it, it was split in half, by the time Firefighters came along they had to use the Jaws of Life to get us out..I lost my mom that day..
..few years later my dad pulled a trickster on the same highway, off into the lake with him!
