No animosity that I have seen, but there is a bit of history with the Swedish occupation of Finland, the Fins are very nationalistic having been occupied by the Swedes and the Russians.

The Finns will accept immigrants once they have got their residents staus, and are officially learning the Finnish language. As you know Swedish is spoken in Finland also but is not a required language. I have heard Finns argue stronly that an immigrant is Finnish once he becomes a citizen.
