Three brothers of Old Riga

The oldest of the brothers (No. 17) built around 1490.g. It has a step-frontispiece of Gothic niches, the portal in front of a vertically positioned step with stone slabs at the ends. These plates or door stone columns is almost the only home decoration. This building had one large room with high wooden ceilings, here was and work and trade and everyday life. It is the only room in the original, which survived from the 15th century.

"Mean brother" No. 19 - House built 1646.g., created a portal with the inscription: "Step Deo gloria!" at the entrance - 1746.g. Bilding frontage has Dutch Mannerist features. Different from the old building, above the hall was a large room with small panes large windows, living quarters are also located on the second floor courtyard. So people not only cared for home utility, but also comfort.

"Youngest brother" building No.21 - got its present appearance at end of 17th century. The building has a curved shape baroque gables, at each floor decorated were small apartments. Attention attract the mask over the entrance, which, after the owner's opinion, may protected from evil spirits.
