Three brothers is the oldest dwelling complex in Riga. It is situated on the Small Castle Street 17, 19, 21 (Maza Pils 17, 19, 21). The name "Three brothers" has appeared on similarity to "Three sisters" of Tallinn.

"Mean brother" No. 19 - House built 1646.g., created a portal with the inscription: "Step Deo gloria!" at the entrance - 1746.g. Bilding frontage has Dutch Mannerist features. Different from the old building, above the hall was a large room with small panes large windows, living quarters are also located on the second floor courtyard. So people not only cared for home utility, but also comfort.
"Youngest brother" building No.21 - got its present appearance at end of 17th century. The building has a curved shape baroque gables, at each floor decorated were small apartments. Attention attract the mask over the entrance, which, after the owner's opinion, may protected from evil spirits.
