Easters real meaning

i wonder this easter will many see past the familiar easter story spun by society, the easter eggs, chocolates, holiday weekend, and another extra day off maybe..sounds neat ...
yes easter has another far reaching story, dismissed by many as a non starter, and only for some too weak to get by in the world that they need some other help..

but love came down at easter time...

a man who was himself the Son of God
his mission..to rescue lost people..now many will not think themself lost, but we are...all of us..and he came to make a way for us..back to God....here is the love that led him to a cross of wood, thorns, betrayal, a spear in his side, nails in his hands and feet, while roman soldiers gambled for his clothes, and when thirsty all they would give him was vinegar to drink...well who would go through all of that and for what reason...if we were not as he said...why should he go through it all.....no reason too....other than...he loved us so much, he came to deal with our sin problem, and reconcile us to God...this is the easter story...and why more religion some may ask...because this story is for you and me...and it has an eternal bearing on our souls destiny...

where we spend our eternity depends on-how we respond to this message..

believe and be saved, refuse and be lost...its easter friends, and just want to share something so very true....in a world where there is need of hope ...
