Reason to read the forums

When I was very new to the site and did not understand how to navigate it (some of it is still a puzzle to me) I launched into an on-line relationship. What a mistake that turned out to be and it got very nasty and very scary with him threatening me. I have a close friend who in the local police so after making him aware of what was going on, I felt safe again.

The point of this is that if I had known how to go about checking people out on the site, it would never have happened.

How do I know this .. because he is back on the site and this time I understand how to check things out. I checked his forum postings from when he posted before we met (he left the forums probably because he was not well liked) and believe me, if I had seen them before ever writing to him, there is no way on earth that I would have got involved with him. I thought he was sad and lonely but he was a complete nutcase and those forum posts showed that.

Advice for newbies ... READ THE FORUMS and get some idea of who you are talking to ....

When does the sun shine in England?

Just saw the sun, got out the chair, settled with my mp3 and some nice music and a coke and GONE ... now I know why I shifted to NZ. All I'd like is 30 mins of sunshine to feel good.sigh

Going places

I have been to a lot of places, but I've never been in Cahoots. Apparently you can't go alone. You have to be in Cahoots with someone. I've also never been in Cognito, either. I hear no one recognizes you there. I have, however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport; you have to be driven there. I have made several trips, thanks to my friends and family. I would like to jump to Conclusions, but I'm not much into that sort of physical activity.
