Thanks Sweet .. I am a very open person and always treat others as if they are the same ... but I do understand about keeping myself safe and I've had some strange e-mails ... the best one was from a very cheeky young man who offered to satisfy me with no strings attached ... how lucky am I ?? .. he said we could meet for coffee first in a public place ... told him my two sons thought that was a great idea and they would come along too .. think I mentioned their interest in golf and baseball

Stop moaning, at least you get to meet some of them, and you get to go out in the evening. Try spending evenings scrolling through the forums looking for some fun threads!! Seriously Lost my friend, you need to talk to them longer online or on skype to get a good idea of who they are. Good luck with the next one and keep us posted of your progress or lack thereof

If I could afford it I'd be there, I have a friend touring all of South America at the moment and he loves it ... been tear gassed in street protests, had his passport seized, threatened with deportation, made friends with the local top guy, surfed sand dunes in the dessert, attended punk festivals, visited all the most historic sites and made lots of friends ... he has had an awesome time and will have some great memories ... think I may do a more sedate tour though!

Well folks since it was dull, I cooked a roast beef dinner and baked a batch of peanut cookies... stock up Mum's freezer with baking while I'm here. Looking forward to another beautiful summer on the Kapiti Coast and a nice holiday in Rarotonga with my little mokopuna. I KNOW Tenerife is beautiful and warm and I AM JEALOUS ... keep rubbing it in, my sister gets her holiday there while I'm here, I used to love it when we got to go away together. Beautiful shady village squares to sit and have lunch and evenings walking along the seafront .. mmmmmmm yes you do know how to rub it in Feeling!

Well I wasn't quite on the top of the mountain but it was near the top and I had the bonus of water from a spring further up so even in power cuts I had access to fresh water gravity fed ... loved that place and even though it took me nearly two hours to drive to work .. over the Rimutaka Hill .. it was so worth it to live in such a beautiful place. Now live on the flat close to the beach and look out of my window to a mountain range .. so it's still a nice outlook. What a change from the cobbled streets of Lancashire where I was brought up. Isn't it wonderful to live in a beautiful place
