Back Again!!!

Hello Everyone,

It's been a while since I've been on. I moved with my boys to a new home, but one that I share with my Aunt and her son. It is a beautiful home that neither of us could afford on our own but we decided to purchase together. Best thing I could have ever done. I've been so happy. I was very depressed for so long. A lot of days, only my new friends on this site, got me out of bed. I am blessed and happy to be back. I will try to catch up and give a personal "Hello" to each of you as the opportunity arises. Hope everyone is well and I've missed you all. Hope to hear from you soon.. Deehug hug hug

The Hangover

The worst part of Hurricane Irene is the Hangover. Much to our delight, the storm was not as bad as anticipated. We fair very well. Though there are some power outages, the worst part is the hangover from all the drinking we did. However, we had a great time of it. Nothing a little alka-seltzer can't fix. doh doh doh doh doh doh doh doh doh

Hurricane Irene

I'm in Northeast Maryland. Right on the Chesapeake Bay. Even though it is now a Category One storm, we will get severe flooding and wind damage. I pray for all in the path of the storm. Will try to keep everyone posted as long as the power holds out. Peace!!!

P.S. True storm troopers already have their bottles!!!

Earthquake

We just had a 5.9 earthquake in Virginia and Maryland. It was centered 12 miles north of Richmond,Va and felt as far north as Rhode Island and as far south as Atlanta,Ga. To those of you that are use to earthquakes, this is nothing. We do not have earthquakes on the east coast of the US. This was a little scary for everyone here.

Long distance

How realistic would it be to persue a relationship with someone across the country or the other side of the world for that matter? How can these relationships ever work out? It's hard enough to maintain one with someone thats in your geographical area, let alone across the continents. Am I wrong not to even contemplate a relationship such as this or am I writing off a whole section of people who may be my match? I really would like everyone's thoughts on this subject and your reasons for or against these relationships. Please back up your responses. You never know, someone could change my mind.

How is everyone?

How is everyone tonight? I know we blog on here all day long and I think it would be nice if we just "check in" and see how all are doing tonight. Maybe you might think this not important but you never know how someones day has went. This might be someones only means to the outside world, or the only time of night one might have to vent or just participate. How knows!!!That is why I'm asking. How are you tonight? Please let us know. I will go first.

Time, Place and activity

I was just wondering about everyone that blogs here on where they live, what time is it where you are at and what you happen to be doing right now (besides the obvious-on the computer)? Like, right now I'm in Baltimore, Md. Central East Coast of the US. It is 1:36am. Besides blogging, I'm searching the classified ads for a new apartment, jotting down a few lines of poetry and having a nice glass of Chardonay. Just curious to know a little more about everyone here. I hope many of you will participate in my blog. It could be fun. How about people??wine cheers hug dancing confused banana professor rolling on the floor laughing

P.S. This could be fun, please join in.
