Oh, my this got longer than I intended it to?! Bad blogger!!!---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----

Okay, now I'm a Christian. angel Though, at times back-slidden. devil One thing no one can do is question my faith. Respect what I believe as I respect what everyone else chooses to believe.

My son is an amazingly talented young man who I am so blessed to have and he's chosen to be Muslim. We love the same God just different ways of worshiping. hug

Now here is my thing about all these newbies on here who are posting "Christianity" based blogs. Everyone has the right to post in their blog anything they have on their mind. That should be respected not criticized blah as it has been by some.

What I don't get, as a Christian myself, is that all of them, choose not to allow comments?confused

Imagine if the minister at your church refused to talk to visitors? mumbling

No one needs to justify their personal beliefs because someone asks them why do you believe or not believe other than to say "faith" or "sounds like fairytales"angel2 . Maybe for those inbetween they might have an honest question that can be answered in a private email.conversing

You don't have to have a war of words with anyone about your faith.choir

Let them comment. yay

Don't be offended by those who don't see things your way.very mad

Stand firm on your personal beliefs.boxing

Don't quote scripture out of context. barf
I've corrected many friends who have preached at people using bible passages that if the person had studied they would have found it was relating to an in event that took place. professor
It was not God talking to us.scold
The same thing happens very often with the Qu'ran.

Most of all don't preach at anyone. blah blah talk to hand Those who want to hear the "Word" will hear it.cheering

That's my feelings on the NO COMMENT subject. I'm sure SOMEONE will say I'm criticizing the NO COMMENT Christian bloggers with my blog. If I come across that way it's purely unintentional. doh

Funniest Ad I've Seen Yet on My Profile Page

NOTE: I AM NOT PROMOTING THE BELOW DATING SITE!!!

First thing is the name of the site is richmen.com and the pictured is a gorgeous male model carrying two tires.
Somehow, I doubt he ever gets dirty.

Now, if the men are "rich" why is the man pictured doing blue collar labor? Though, maybe Richmen is the name of the person who started the site.confused

Next, notice the site is only for WHITE women.

Guess I'll keep to myself my last comment about who really is running this site.grin

I'm sure CS will delete this blog in the blink of an eye, but I thought it was quite humorous.rolling on the floor laughing

Marriage Minded Men

Do marriage minded men still exist?

I read profiles that say they are seeking marriage. Spoke on the phone with men saying they want exactly what I do. Go out on a dates with them and I hear about the ex wife who screwed them over. I hear about how marriage is over-rated. Is putting that they are interested in marriage simply a ploy to get dates?

As for this site all my emails so far have been from scam artists. Which is entertaining but all my dates are off of other sites.

Please no bashing my profile. I'm not going to look at yours and give my personal opinion of what I don't like about it. It doesn't hurt for people to be kind to each other every once in a while.

Thank you.

Subject of Settling

conversing [For the longest time I've had this debate going on in my head about whether I should just settle for being loved rather than continue what seems to be a futile search for my soulmate.

In a perfect world I would want so much to feel that overwhelming feeling of love for a man who also loves and adores me.kiss

My son is 20 now and his father was the last relationship I had but I did choose not to date after we split up shortly before our son turned 3. For me, being a good mother came first becaue my son had just one childhood. His father was physically abusive and has never been in the picture.dunno

I get asked out on plenty of dates so that isn't the issue. Just never get that feeling, or its mutual or they simply want a FWB where I want forever.

Now, there is a man that I met last April who lives nearly 100 miles from me. I've gone to visit a couple time for a few days. He is very much in love with me. Would marry me to keep me. I'm not feeling the same or am not letting myself feel the same because of his circumstances maybe?

This is a nice man but he is legally blind and eventually will lose his remaining sight. His house is in foreclosure. Nothing is good right now for him. I feel so terrible for him. Being with him I would be loved but it would mean a life of being a full time care attendant. Never leading a normal life again. No normal activities ever again because of his limitations.

So many negatives but he loves me for real and I know that without a doubt. Maybe I won't ever find that again.

Settle or keep waiting?
