Right now the age difference is no big deal. But think about it in 20 years if you were to get married. When you are 47 and he is 67. You might not know it but 47 isn't old nowadays. When I was 23 my boyfriend was 39. I'm not 52 and if we'd gotten married I'd be with a 68 year old. Now some people are still quite youthful at that age but he's not one of them. I hope what I said makes sense. Enjoy what you have right now.
Gee, my mom was 5'3" and so is my sister. I'm 5'8" because my dad is 6'0 tall. Most of my friends from high school were 4'11 to 5'2". Very few women I know are my height. But...that being said we have fathers who are tall thus we get the height. In many other cultures the population in general is short as in many parts of Latin America and Asia (many Koreans tend to be tall). Here in the US and Europe (as most of us are of European ancestry)people are just of more varying heights.
If it had crashed into the ocean there would have been a field of debris. It wouldn't have gone down in one piece to the bottom of the ocean. If terrorist had been planning this for a very long time they would have it all worked out where they could land the plane...building a runway in the middle of nowhere. I don't hold out any hope for the passengers in that scenario because I believe the obtaining plane was the objective. My heart goes out to the families who wait with broken hearts for news either way. Not knowing is truly torment.
I notice there are quite a few foolish people bringing this topic up lately. As if any artist living or deceased had Adam, Eve, Jesus, God or Angels from heaven sit for a portrait in person. No one knows what color God's skin might be only that artists have created God in THEIR own image.

Almost every email I receive is from a scammer. The very few that are not are young men from India, Pakistan and South Africa, etc... wanting to "make friends" and chat/skype with me.
Other than that it might be someone just asking a question.
Have never been contacted by a real member interested in me that live near me. There has been maybe 2 from across the country. Now I'm not limiting myself to distance not even within the US but they must be the right person.
I'm on other sites where I either rarely see a scammer or never do. Much better systems in place to delete them built into the email systems. Auto deleting of of accounts using scripted emails. Things like that.
I participate in a forum on another site, a much larger and more active forum that this one.
What I have found is that there are people who are bullies because they can hide behind a keyboard free to make mean spirited comments that they would not ever dare to say to anyone face to face.
Its so very sad that some people find such great pleasure in being cruel to others and call it "freedom of speech". How about being a decent human being, compassionate and thoughtful of how your remarks might make someone else feel.
Some of us who are regulars in forum develop that tough skin and I'm one to knock a bully down if I run into one. Pick on someone who can't speak up for themselves then I will heard loud and clear.
So, dear OP do not ever apoligize for coming into the forum and posting your thoughts and questions. Do understand there are bad people out there who don't know how to say anything nice. They should simply be ashamed of themselves. God will deal with them one day as he will with us all.
This coming from a 50 year old, who is 5'7" and I guess can get a sandwich? How many 25 year olds are filling your inbox on multiple sites? I get emails daily on 3 different sites from young men. I don't date them because I'm not a cougar but the attention, and compliments always appreciated. Your comment is totally out of line.
Mature women are not what they used to be. I'm 49 but I don't look it. Pervy old dudes unfortunately are still the same. All think they are all that and a bag of chips.
I met a gentleman on another site who lives in Denmark. We have hit it off on many levels. Just so happened he has family only 15 minutes from me and that he is coming here in December, staying for an entire month. We are both very excited to get to spend time together and go away for a few days. If we really hit it off then he wants to fly me to Denmark for my birthday in February and hopes I would stay at least 6 weeks. If that goes well then the next visit will be planned. If love happens then its a new conversation for us.
I'm new and my inbox fills up and ALL scam artists. I've been on many sites but never ever in my life have I seen one as bad as this. The only way to describe it is "infested". Granted, the do pull up "New Members" and then they all send out their intro email. Still I've never seen it this bad. I do laugh at the fact that many are such low grade scammer. The pictures and description don't match. The introductions are screened for content at times. They use one pulled from a woman's profile on another site but don't get all the wording changed so some of the feminine identity still exists. Its just funny.
