Recently I began talking to a man quite older than I am. 20 yrs to be exact! For some reason I find him more interesting than the men my age. The maturity level and just how courteous he is. We did spend a night together actually multiple times, which was AMAZING. . But to live in a small town everyone talks. I feel conflicted for being so into him, but the chemistry is off the wall. He dresses and acts younger. Very well established. What do people think about a 27 yr old dating 47

Sorry you live in a small town where the busybodies are in everyone else's business.....but I think you should pursue happiness purple heart and go for it! Just be discreet about it for as long as you can, if you want to be left alone. Once they do find out, brush off the negative comments; perhaps read a book about assertiveness skills? You can learn some great ways to respond to the bored and restless meddlers...

Simple formula I have seen written is , halve the older persons age then add 7 . Wouldn't worry about it .

Don't analyze everything, if it appeals to you go ahead and do it.
Don't always seek approval, it's your life or decision in whatever matter.
Don't be too critical...not same as above...more as in being light-hearted
Don't fix it if it ain't broken! Object or situation..

Can't help but ask if ya happy with him, why are you on a dating site? Ah, forgot.. ya seeking advice...doh
Now, not only your small town of 1500 know about it, nearly the entire singles of da world...
cheers

You have to be happy with him.

Just ask yourself what you want out of it - 27 and 47 can be ok, but what is about 37 and 57 when you might want get kids? Would he still be able for this?

Or 47 and 67 - you still working and he a pensioner sitting at home?

If you want to enjoy the moment, do, but consider the consequences if you are looking for something more permanent.

Best of luck. handshake

No idea. I don't really care what people talk about.
I wish you luck. And being brave to go for what you want.
Because who, who is happy himself, cares what people say?

So follow your instinct and be wise. You are 27. Ask yourself what you want from live and relation and if that matches with what he wants from life and relation, go for it.
If not - leave it. Living in a small town has a lot of social disadvantages. People talk. Why to get into trouble just for an adventure or romance? If you have 5 relations with guys your age people would not care, just one relation but with 20 years older man which will end up without "happy ending" will stay in their minds for ever. And not in a good way probably. Peoples imagination is simply living on suspicions.

But, if you both are serious about each other, your long term expectations matches, that's definitely worth a try.

If a girl from small town is looking for well-established Sugar Daddy ... its ok!!!
At least for the time being!

To be honest! I like dating younger guys but what I miss in them is maturity!
Honestly! I wish if there had been a right combination made for me ... A yyounger good looking well-built guy who is saner in maturity and intellect !
aaaaah!
I don't want to act as SUGAR MOM and in the heart of heart I desire for younger guys LOLS ... I am thinking what your partner might have been feeling right now !!! He must have been feeling lucky to find you cool

Not a terrible idea in that your being much younger will help you keep him.

But I wouldn't completely disregard the thoughts and feelings of people around you if you have any sort of reputation worth having. Online folk are often shameless escapists with no standing amongst the lovely normal people, so of course they'll tell you to go "Ugg! Gimmedat" and act entirely upon selfish impulse without consideration of others.

So then you admit you have a fake bogus profile, since Fargo has way more people than that. Stupid topic anyway, last woman here was 34 years younger. So what? Her choice.
