So after reading that i was thinking peopel shed tears in the memories of those few hundred people who died in 9/11 incident but no one sheds a single tear in people dying daily in drone attacks in Iraq, Afghanistan, Phalestine why becuase they all are muslims. So this world is indeed double standard.
At some point you will realize that you have done too much for someone, that the only next possible step to do is to leave them alone. Walk away. It's not like you're giving up, it's more like you know when enough is enough. You have to draw the line of determination from desperation. What is truly yours will eventually be yours, and what is not, no matter how hard you try, will never be.

Footprints
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene,he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonged to him, and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of foot - prints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."
The Lord replied, "My precious Mortal, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."
I went to a party,
And remembered what you said.
You told me not to drink, Mom
So I had a sprite instead.

The Quickest Path Isn’t Always the Right or Best Path to Take
Most of us have a deep fixation in our minds that there is only one way, one path towards a desired destination. We are so fixed and locked upon this journey that we will rarely accept a different opinion or perspective. We know the path that we must take and we will do whatever it takes to reach that destination no matter what difficulties may lie in our way.

The funny thing about life is that it presents us with a constant array of clues that are somewhat forced upon us when we least expect them. The great sailors of days gone by picked up on this very quickly. They knew that the wind blows and directs with a purpose. They realized that through the act of harnessing this powerful force that they could redirect themselves along paths that offered less resistance and greater potential for success. Yes, indeed for them these journeys might have taken longer, however life always has a means and a purpose for everything that it throws our way.
Love is action.
When you ask how do you show love? There are many answers to that question. People can view love in many different ways. Love can be expressed in a word, an action, a gift, or a touch. Love is a verb. Love is something that is done. Love isn't just a fickle feeling to fall in or out of, or something that comes and goes according to situation. Love is a choice. You choose to love someone. You choose to say a kind word, to give a sweet gift, to do a extra bit of help, or to give a soft kiss. Yet you can do each of those things and not love someone. Love in action is when that person you hold most dear does something that makes you upset but you still want to be near them. When they get upset you want to reconcile not retaliate. When they try to hide and pull away you gently step closer and pull them close. Love doesn't ignore wrong doings, but it doesn't keep score. Love praises the good, seeks out the best, and forgives the unpleasant. Love is not something you achieve and put as a trophy on a shelf. Love is something you constantly build, it's a long life masterpiece. You are always working at it. When you are more concerned about loving someone else than loving yourself then you free them up to be focused on loving you. Love is done because you want to love the other person. Love can't be done properly if you're expecting a certain reaction. If the person doesn't say thank you or doesn't give you the praise you were anticipating then love means that you don't take it personally. Remember that you don't always do what the other person would like either. None of us are perfect. Be aware of how you express love and how you receive it. Be thankful for the little things because there are far more opportunities for the little things in life than the big events. You can't live off of the emotional high from one big event to the next, they just don't come often enough. You have to make a conscience decision to give and receive millions of little moments of love. Love is at it's best when you are forgiven at your worst.
