1. Do Not Interfere In ODrs' Business Unless Asked.
Most of us create our own problems by interfering too often in others affairs. We do so because somehow we have convinced ourselves dat our way is d best way, our logic is d perfect logic nd those who do not conform to our thinking must b criticized nd steered to d right direction, our direction. Dez thinking denies D existence of individuality nd consequently D existence of God.. God has created each one of us in a unique way. No two human beings can think or act in exactly d same way. All men or women act d way Dey do because God within Dem prompts Dem dat way. Mind Ur own business nd U will keep Ur peace.
2. Forgive Nd Forget:
Dez is D most powerful aid to peace of mind. We often develop ill feelings inside our heart for D person who insults us or harms us. We nurture grievances. Dez in turn results in loss of sleep, development of stomach ulcers, nd high blood pressure. Dez insult or injury was done once, but nourishing of grievance goes on forever by constantly remembering it. Get over dez bad habit. Life is too short to waste in such trifles. Forgive, Forget, nd march on. Love flourishes in giving nd forgiving.
3. Do Not Crave For Recognition:
Dez world is full of selfish people. Dey seldom praise anybody widout selfish motives. Dey may praise U today because U are in power, but no sooner den U are powerless, Dey will forget Ur achievement nd will start finding faults in U. Why do U wish to kill Urself in striving for Dere recognition? Dere recognition is not worth D aggravation. Do Ur duties ethically nd sincerely.
4. Do Not Be Jealous:
We all have experienced how jealousy can disturb our peace of mind. U know dat U work harder den Ur colleagues in D office, but sometimes Dey get promotions; U do not. U started a business several years ago, but U are not as successful as Ur neighbor whose business is only one year old. Dere are several examples Lyk Dez in everyday life. Should U be jealous? No. Remember everybody's life is shaped by his/her destiny, which has now become his/her reality. If U are destined to be rich, nothing in D world can stop U. If U are not so destined, no one can help U eitha. Nothing will be gained by blaming others for Ur misfortune. Jealousy will not get U anywhere; it will only take away Ur peace of mind.
5. Change Urself According To D Environment:
If U try to change D environment single-hndedly, D chances are U will fail. Instead, change Urself to suit Ur environment. As U do dez, even D environment, which has been unfriendly to U, will mysteriously change nd seem congenial nd harmonious.
6. Endure Wat Cannot Be Cured:
Dez is D best way to turn a disadvantage into an advantage. Every day we face numerous inconveniences, ailments, irritations, nd accidents dat are beyond our control. If we cannot control Dem or change Dem, we must learn to put up with Dez things. We must learn to endure Dem cheerfully. Believe in Urself nd U will gain in terms of patience, inner strength nd will power.
7. Do Not Bite Off More Den U Can Chew:
Dez maxim needs to be remembered constantly. We often tend to take more responsibilities den we are capable of carrying out. Dez is done to satisfy our ego. Know Ur limitations. Why take on additional loads dat may create more worries? U cannot gain peace of mind by expending Ur external activities. Reduce Ur material engagements nd spend time in prayer, introspection nd meditation. Dez will reduce those thoughts in Ur mind dat make U restless. Uncluttered mind will produce greater peace of mind.
