We turned mud, water and trees into magical devices to see things we could not see, hear things we could not hear and see right through our bodies.

Today I was walking to work from lunch and saw a bunch of kids at the bus stop doing that motion to honk where they pretend to pull a cord. A couple people honked on the way by.
I remember doing that exact same hand gesture 30 years ago two states away. I have no clue where I learned it and have not seen it on tv. Yet, anywhere I go, it seems both kids and adults know what that signal means. Odd

You probably wouldn't notice it much unless you were around 35. Have you ever noticed on these dating sites there are a lot of 20's and 40's, a few 50 and 60, but the mid 30's there seems to be a gap, hardly any profiles.
Hypothetical situation:
You wake up in a park at 3pm down town in a city. You have no relatives or friends you can turn to, no job, no job history, and no money. In your pocket you find directions to a homeless shelter. It is getting cold, you are hungry and the homeless shelter is 12 blocks away.
What would you do to rise above it all?

Dating sites seem to have single super model girls posted all over their front page, inbox always full of course. Then every time you look at who is online now, it's 95% guys and the other 5% are not super models.
I'm thinking these fake ads really ruin it for normal guy. I also think that hardly any girls are looking on the internet. Why would a women go on the net when all she has to do is wait for a guy to come to her. I'm sure single women have to reject a lot of guys so they don't need the extra attention.
Just wondering if it's more likely that a someone with kids would meet someone with kids.
What is your view? If your single would you go out with someone with kids? If you have kids, would go out with someone with no kids?
Two things to never talk about in the office. Religion and politics. The reason is that it make people mad. Mostly because I'm right and your always wrong, on every issue all the time. I don't know how you can be wrong all the time, but you always are. Same with religion, my religion is right and your going to hell, but hey, that's your bad.
So there are those who are mad, some laughing, and some just plain don't give a rats. I wonder who voted republican, democate, or didn't vote at all.
I could look through 100 pictures of women and nothing strikes me, but every once in a great while I see someone that draws me in. It's like I know the person, I love the person, and want the person to be my friend, but I don't know anything about the person. It only happened about 5 or 6 times ever. A couple people online and two or three offline.
I tried to figure out why I would feel that way towards them, and there is no commonality and they are not supermodels or anything. Very weird.
Anyone have that happen?
