RE: from a smart friend

Sounds cool at first. Some people at best are rotten to the core.

RE: i was misunderstood, so i'm upset today

You talked to American that used the word frank? Your probably good to get rid of him

RE: Secretary Job

It takes some thought to spell that many words wrong. Usually all words are spelled wrong the same way too. With that many mistakes, I'm suprised the format was not as one paragraph.

RE: Love or Companionship

Infatuation is loving the person you think is the person. That goes away when you realize the person is nothing like your dream.

Love or Companionship, go for companionship. If the person is your friend and you get along then why no be with that person?

RE: real friendship

Footprints In Our Hearts

Some people come into our lives and quickly go.

Some people move our souls to dance.

They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom.

Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon.

They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints in our hearts, and we are never, ever the same again.

RE: who else thinks hooking up and chatting

I do some times, but it usually ends after asl for some reason.

RE: Dating a gambler

Yep get out now. Don't try to fix him or he will drag you down until you are so broken you can't even help yourself. It's you or gambling and he chooses gambling then he is out the door, his decision.

RE: how long???

I would say that if you know he got your email and you didn't get a response, then forget it. If your getting one word responses to your long email, then your just annoying the person.

RE: Would you sell you car to get Married?

How about skip the wedding, sign some papers instead and keep the car.

RE: all about me

"God created a bunch of beautiful women with great personalities, so remember you’re not the only one."

Funniest line ever haha, I'll have to remember that one

RE: the age of innocence

Yeah I don't understand why either. I see people like that too. I had professor 75 or 80 who one semester got a girlfriend. He seemed to have endless enegery, I even saw him jump up on his desk to get a book off the top shelf. He seemed happy like nothing mattered.

RE: Happiness

Sounds like your in the perfect situation, no need for mr. right. Good luck

RE: nice guys do finish last

I was too nice to even get that far.

RE: Your idea about friendship

I would have to say with things you don't need to trust someone on, choose the friend that mostly likely knows.

There are not many people you can really trust. Most will blab it someone else, or save the info to stab you at right time.

RE: Lonely.

I used to be lonely until I became too busy to think about it much.

RE: reallyy????

Must be a really small town in CA. Good luck

RE: Why get married?

Sounds like you got the short end of the stick

Which would you choose?

Oh that would be nice spot to be in

RE: GOATEE'S WHATS THE DILLY SILLY ? OF THE DAY

A question to ponder: on memory

Hey Cutypie,

The computer would be like us except it stores information on a magnetic disk.

Take the computer away, and now where is it stored?

Secondary storage to a computer is like books are to us, so it's not stored there either.

RE: Negativism and Positivism

So in a world of positivism and negativism, where the second law of thermodynamics applies to a universe that evens out to a maximum, you are right in the middle, an axis, where everything holds you where you stand?

RE: GOATEE'S WHATS THE DILLY SILLY ? OF THE DAY

Realize it's a con and con the con.

RE: What Men Want

In your situation, maybe the pretty girl dumped him and gave him a little reality check, so he decided go with someone closer to his reality.

Then again, maybe she was too high maintance, comming in wanting this and that and he was broke then next week, then he is back to situation one.

yay

RE: GOATEE'S WHATS THE DILLY SILLY ? OF THE DAY??

And the fourth: Pride

RE: GOATEE'S WHATS THE DILLY SILLY ? OF THE DAY??

There are three drives.

1. For the money.
2. To lesson the mistakes.
3. To show off. (Fame) to be better than you 'low lifes'

RE: GOATEE'S WHATS THE DILLY SILLY ? OF THE DAY

I believe there are four reason for deceit.

1. Deceiver tries to hurt other person for no other reason.
2. Deceiver tries to get some personal gain and hurts other person in the process.
3. Deciever tries protect him/herself from the other person.
4. Deciever tries to help the other person.

The only one that doesn't make life better for at least one person, is number one. That is the most evil one, yet there are people that get joy out of making others miserable.

RE: 'Unlimited' Energy..........

Unlimited wants means you want a car, then you get a car, now you want gas, so you get gas, then you want oil, then you want to drive somewhere etc. The wants of person stops on death.

Energy can't be created or destroyed, so all you really need are more energy harnessing devices.

The two problems we have are that we are dependant on oil that will run out eventually. If right now we had no oil, vehicles wouldn't work. The country would totally collapse, people would starve because of no way to transport food, no way to defend our sky, all the machines that run on oil would stop. In my opinion, oil was a good reason to go war over.

Your senario would be good to cover needs, but never enough to cover desires. Suppose you have a community and all is good and running, then another community produces something amazing. Now all those other communities want that product, now that nice and perfect community is lacking in a product and isnt' quite as nice anymore.

Idea

Not to sell it, but to show consumers what they are really getting.

RE: GOATEE'S WHATS THE DILLY SILLY ? OF THE DAY??

When a guy first looks at a girl, I don't think he is seeing what his eyes are looking at.

I guess the most import thing on a first date is it to be fun for both.
