If I was an entity (god) with all the answers, I might be inclined to create some creatures that can peer out into the unknown with wonder so that I might know what it feels like to know nothing.
Being alone has some major advantages. I came here to browse through personals, the first day I did, then I found this blogs page. The site turned from being a personals site to being an ideas site. I like see and interacting with the ideas more than finding a personal relationship with someone. Maybe that's why you do it too.
I agree. I left twice and was still charged. I'm totally done with that site and the match emails do not stop.
Every time someone browses your profile you will get an email saying that person is interested in you. When you log in, you find some form "wink" mail and the person has no interest or clue who you are.
I think a person puts another person down to create a percieved feeling of being better than the other person. It gives that person some hope of achievement or satisfaction about being better than someone else when everything else in their life is a failure.
There are those that get satisfaction by judging themselves better than other people, and those that get satisfaction by knowing that others are happy.
I used to start out by stating my imperfections, but that turns people off so fast. It works much better to have a positive attitude and be easy to talk to. If someone gets to like you, they will be more likely to look past the imperfections.
Are those your imperfections or your traits?
If I lived with someone I would have to have two bathrooms and two bedrooms. No waiting, and no being kept up with snoring. And I like the room temperature to be 75-80, it trivial, but a 65 degree thermastate wouldn't cut it.
Things I don't like are also my traits and my imperfections?
This is a site for mostly blogging. If you are really serious there are companies out there that will guarentee you find someone you like. The cost, but they provide the service, it's not left up to you to search around.
You could charge $1000 a person, hospital charges more than that and they don't do that great of a job.
There is a potential drawback: Thousands of sick people at your door 24 hours a day, you would never be left alone, and some would think you were Jesus returned, others would try and kill you for being the devil.
I wonder if people do not meet because they hear too many bad stories, they do not actually expect they would meet anyone online for real, or maybe the person is just too far away.
RE: Goodbye to The Home Depot!
To be the devil's advocate, business is always about the bottom line, money. If you can show Home Depot that the system you like will provide a gain, to Home Depot, then you have a bargaining chip.
All any business cares about it money, the only reason you get paid is that it helps the company and you will not work for less.
