You don't have to be a certain age to collection social security. You just need to be disabled enough to get it. It's a pain to jump through all the hoops, but you should try, and file to get your social security. Do it before your out of work too long, I think they check the last 40 quarters you worked to determine your benefit.
More people need you than you know. You will die eventually anyway, so why not do something with the time you have left? Forget about what happened in the past, nothing can change it, but you do something tomorrow. Get help for you depression, plan a vacation, change your life. It sounds like it's so boring you can't stand it. Take some risks, do something fun, something totally out of your character.

I am with you on that one. I want to be left alone on my birthday, but nooo, relatives throw a party and obligate me to come. A party, for me, on my birthday, and I don't like parties.. Gee thanks! Parties are bunch of annoying small talk, and since your the highlight of the party, your trapped.

I do not know if there is a God, but I was God and wanted my help to be hidden, then I would invent a gap in the fabric of existance that was too complex to understand how it worked. Then I would manipulate the outcome of that gap to aid those I wanted - lets call it randomness.

There are different levels to a relationship, first is stranger, then you know someone kinda, then you might be friends.
The barrier between stranger and and kind of knowing someone is very difficult for some people to break, but online makes it easy.
The only true way to meet people though is in person, social clubs have a higher rate of success because people there can break the ice and browse people in person.
Online is the same thing, except meeting in person is much less than a social club, so the success rate is much less.
Your probably over looked by single men who do not want to have to take care of your kids or deal with the fact that your still married. You will have to drop that other guy legally before anyone decent would think about a relationship with you.
Time will change your thoughts and personality a bit too. Many people that do things that hurt themselves hit rock bottom and end up deciding when there is absolutely no other choice, but to decide to live or die.
Just do something else that you like doing instead of the bad thing. If you don't like doing anything else, then try a new thing every day, if you don't like it, at least you only have to do it one day right? You might find something you like a whole lot better, in any case, least your not doing the thing you wanted to avoid.
Some people think badly about anyone who lives outside of their own life structure. Who cares about what somoene in Africa thinks anyway. Every side of a idea someone has an opinion about, but it's you that has to live with it. Besides, marriage is just a legal act born out of some faith to trap people into a certain role.
I think he is happy to have you as a friend, but needs time to think about being more serious. Give him some time, if you push him too fast he might stop contacting you all together.
