For some one who does not know much about all things French. Can’t speak or understand French. I am totally unqualified to to pay a Tribute to this great person, singer Edith Piaf. I have heard couple of her very famous songs. Her voice is so powerful and the lyrics that pierces your heart. Edith Piaf sadly passed away on the 10th October 1963. She was born on 19 December 1912. There were couple of very sad events in her life which broke her. It would be good to have comments from a French person or a person who knows more about her than I do. Currently Stella Artois is doing an Ad in UK and has lead me to this tribute.
