Basic human decency

We know we are on the "right" side, when, despite what view we take on any war conflict, we ache for those suffering as a result, and take a stand and action to relieve that suffering. Human value is not based on behaviour, it is based on the fact that a person is human, period.

God's Unconditional Love for all Mankind

I want to encourage all who have been burned by religion, to keep religion and God separate.
Despite what many people say, God loves us all, is on our side, wants the best for us. We are His children, and as such, He has our best interests at heat. He does not seek to punish, but to bless.
God is Love. He does no harm. Even when we make mistakes, believe the wrong thing, do wrong, are selfish, fail, or whatever, His desire is to restore us to balance, and reconnect with us in love. He does not hold our "sins" against us, as He is merciful. He has promised to lead us into all Truth.
God's love is not conditional. This means, that despite the fact He will certainly not approve of harmful behaviour on our part, He never ceases to love and accept us.
Living in God's Kingdom means your heart is full of joy, peace, love, and righteousness.
God does not require us to follow a set of rules, he seeks to fill us with love, so that we do only good to our fellow man. This makes God very happy, as this is his whole goal.
This is who God truly is, regardless of what religion may tell you.
God is good, ALL THE TIME.

I have not written this blog to invite argument. I have written it as a positive expression of my spirituality.
Many of you may choose to call "God" by another name, and that is fine - it is simply the term I use for the same thing you are referring to.
Feel free to share your views on how to love others, and make the world a better place. Lord knows, the world needs all the help it can get! kiss
