for my profile I chose option "toned & firm" to describe body type. Often I got mail stating "really...57 year old toned & firm ??" so this summer I decided to throw caution to the wind and put up some pictures taken at the beach (half naked I know)but I do work on it and feel I have nothing to hide.
The problem now, most mail has "call me" with #. Or some other dumass message. You just can't win with some things
How can one get enough attention and increase our chances of the "right one" checking us out without so many issues ??
Friend #1 tells friend #2, "I got a date with this young hot chick, however I'm worried that at my age I might have problems...if you know what I mean?"
#2 As he hands over a couple of little pills "I've got just the thing for you, take these and you'll be hard all night".
Next day #1 who now is wearing a sling on his arm runs into #2 who asks "what happened. #1 "SHE NEVER SHOWED UP".

Hi all, I don't know if there's anyone here from about 7 months ago that remembers me writing about being "stood up" by a cs member. The day before we were supposed to meet he called late night and said he wouldn't be able to make it. Since I already had an appointment with hairdresser I ended up having to keep it. He cost me money, time and then I'm left looking good with no plans and pretty sad since I thought finally we would be meeting. To his defense he offered to pay for the hairdresser, I declined. I just told him because I thought it just wasn't a cool thing to do.He could've given me more of a notice from the excuse I was given he knew well in advance.
Well we continued going back and forth online after that but it just got too weird, and after he said some hurtful things because I though we were not right for each other. About 1 month ago he starts with the bullcrap again, I told him I wasn't interested. This past week he has sent various messages on cs and today my phone had 4 messages from him starting at 8 am. I just can't believe this,he appeared to be so normal.The thing is he calls all hours even during work so I need to have phone off.
What should I say that might make this person understand I don't want to play the game anymore. I'd hate to have to change my number.Has anyone else had this kind of luck, I'm afraid I'm not such a good judge of character, I'd like to meet someone nice but I seldom hear of anyone who has...is it really worth it???
Too bad I have no one "special" to spend time with. I'm very grateful for the family I do have here, but I miss family in Brazil. I really miss my Dad too(he passed away). The friends I have are nice and I'm happy to have them in my life, but I can't help but feel lonely...think I'll have some wine.

sunny, hot, beauty of a beach day, but how did i spend it? i guess it's a sign of getting older. even 10 years ago i would have stopped everything to enjoy a day like today at the beach. it's 9pm and i look at my day and even though i finished the garden work, added to the landscape two plum trees, washed the car inside and out, shampoo the pups and the carpet in the living room i can't help but feel like i missed out big time.
i'm curious as to how folks around the globe spent their day, i can live vicariously through you, please share
i had a tentative date for last saturday and he was supposed to call and let me know where to meet. that call never came, so i decided to forget about the whole thing.well it seems the person had a "horrible cold" and is just now feeling better and well enough to get in touch and send email.I'm not responding (ever). i'm just so totally amazed as to how someone can be so ignorant and not realize how huge his deficit in interpersonal skills is. he says he is 55 years old i think he is really five.
for the life of me i can't understand why this guy feels i would respond . in my 20's i had a guy that had asked me for my number to call for a date and he did call one friday night and asked if i would like to go to a movie with him and i said "yes when would you like to go?" he said "tonight" i was at a loss for words so i just hung up.
what's up with some guys? why do you think God made some men like that? thank God not all are like that. has any one a clue why some are??? i mean how is that attitude working for them?
