what a way to spend the day...
sunny, hot, beauty of a beach day, but how did i spend it? i guess it's a sign of getting older. even 10 years ago i would have stopped everything to enjoy a day like today at the beach. it's 9pm and i look at my day and even though i finished the garden work, added to the landscape two plum trees, washed the car inside and out, shampoo the pups and the carpet in the living room i can't help but feel like i missed out big time.i'm curious as to how folks around the globe spent their day, i can live vicariously through you, please share

the thought of just sitting sipping a cup of coffee on a cold day sounds like heaven
I washed the car, cleaned my little hut, watered the plants, visited with my son, called my daughter and as usual she didn't answer the phone so I left a message (my daughter and my nefew both have cell phones and they NEVER answer them), visited with my buddy Sam, checked the CS blogs all day and now I'm getting ready for bed.
Tomorrow, church!! YEAAAAA!
It's a dang mystery why they have them. Especially my nefew. He's a professional musician and he must get calls for jobs. I dunno?!?!
Then again....caller ID gives you an idea whose calls you will answer!
An interesting challenge in the land of 4 seasons ... when the weather is nice, is it best to take advantage of the extra ambition that comes with this ... or is that the time to go relax somewhere?
Opposing goals...
For myself, when I feel ambitious and good weather is at hand... I will take advantage of having them both line up and will wash the car, clean the garage, chores indoors as well ... basically, spend the day like you did. At the end, I'll look at the work of the day and will feel content. I like that feeling.

i hear you; i too feel good after a lot is accomplished, however it seems to never end.
having a productive day is nice but when it's a gorgeous day, i can't help but feel like maybe i should've done something fun for at least 1/2 the day after all the weekend goes by quickly.
funny thing is i always have the intention to get some things done after work so to have more free time on the weekend but it just dosen't work out that way.it is a challenge getting the most out of our time.(summer anyway)
well this day is a bit better, walked the pups, nice long walk early am. the usual... dishes laundry etc... cooked lunch for the week so i can at least eat healthy, boring but healthy.spent some time on cs on and off, some time on the phone with family in Brasil, have some work to do in prep. for a presentation wed. at work but all in all not a bad day. still not the same as a day at the beach but better. maybe next sunny weekend:
