These terms are often used, but rarely understood. On 90% of most date web sites, women state that a soul mate is a) a person who will read their mind (then fullfil all their wishes) b) somebody who will love them forever c) Mr. Perfect who is just waiting somewhere to marry her or, alternatively sent by god himself. d) a perfect friend, brother, lover, husband altogether. Bullshit.
Soul mates meet on a physical ground (or level) because their souls have met(or are meeting)on a spiritual level. In most cases this is due to a very close relationship in a previous life. The connection then was so strong, that either one or both decided to meet again and to support, help, love, protect etc. the other one.
Since their soul connection is very strong, they usually understand each other without much talking, can communicate without words and know instantly what the other thinks, feels or needs. They`d go through fire for the other one. But that does not make love life easier. Often they are hopelessly afraid to lose the other partner (in whatever way) subconsciously fearing that this strong LONGING will continue to the next life.
Since their love is very strong and on all levels (physical, emotional, spiritual) this can absorb a lot of their energy, respectively it neutralizes their individual energy source.
Thiss can and often does lead to not meeting their destiny in life, causing a serious dilemma. (Can´t live with, can´t live without the other.)
TRUE or unconditional love is only GIVING, not taking. Use this term carefully if you still have expectations towards your lover!
