This lady swissblueeyes forced me to take a look at my profile today,most of my profiles i have on the web are just to talk to people from all backgrounds and there is no serious thought that these sites can lead to anything else.I have seen what I believed to be the very best results from dating sites and decided I wanted no part of it save a cool conversation or two.
That is why I never really cared too much about how my profile looked to others. Swissblueeyes made me realize just how important a persons profile can really be to other people mine says im looking for women 18-99 but i cant really stand being around 20 year old women for too long and gosh 99? I think its possible some guys just really dont know and their alternate reason for being on here is just too expedient to be concerened. Myself 2 reasons to talk to other people and see whats on their minds, and the other reason is simply "you never know..."Think I'll go give my profile a tweak or two.
The lamest cliche I have ever heard, was that movies are a bad idea for a first date! Hogwash! Movies are a bad idea as the ONLY THING YOU DO for a first date.
To start off an evening at the movies gives you endless conversation pieces for the rest of your date, and allows for many topics to seamlessly arrive from the movie to more personal and intimate subjects, because you begin with something you have in common; You just got through watching it!
Movies are the fastest way for people to open up and reveal themselves as they reveal which character with which they identified. While you're eating or mini-golfing, bowling, or whatever afterward, the conversation flows smoothly then,and all because of a movie.
Try starting from scratch without knowing at first ANYTHING that you may have in common and THEN see what you get, a lot of single people talking about what a bad idea a tool is because they don't know how to properly use it. If two hours is all you want to spend to try to get to know someone even just a little,its no wonder the true reason we're all on here. Stopwatches, now theres a bad idea!
