Journey -- First Act

We all wake up in the morning and express ourselves differently; be it a yawn, a stretch, a fart or by hitting the snooze button and going back to sleep. It is our actions that define who we are. Words are very meaningful but, they can only go so far. Perception is reality, no matter what any one person claims. How a situation is viewed is what makes the situation true; be it fact or not. In that light, what is truth? Is it a fabrication, created from continuously spun opinions? Is it a falsity that is given the appearance of something "correct" as judged by society? Or, is it truly the truth? In an effort to understand the concept of truth, one must first be able to identify a lie. Impurity is not always easy to spot. One must first journey inside themselves and determine their own lies, before they can truly recognize those of another. Hence, my inward journey. To discover who I am. To purge myself of my impurities. To become a truth, by my own definition. And, to progress onward, carving my name into the slab of destiny...
