DEALING WITH DEPRESSION- You are NOT alone.
Some people are suffering with depression, without even knowing it or what depression is? There are many symptoms of depression, varying from feeling sadness, tearful, isolated, dark, not at peace, lonely and suicidal. What the hell are we here for? What have i got to live for? And that's only a few of the feelings and questions that can be associated with the BIG "D". Depression is actually a NORMAL feeling. YOU are normal. But if it continues into days, weeks and months?? If it is stopping you from living your life properly in anyway. PLEASE do yourself the biggest favour and get some help. Please see if you can speak with someone (friends and family?) about how you are feeling. I understand that not everyone has that type of support (and that thought can make the depression even worse or deeper!!) Also you are doing a helpful thing for yourself in writing about it too! Depression is very common and affects everyone at some point whether mild or clinical in there lifetime. I too have suffered with it. Physical exercise, expressing how you are feeling/counselling and the right support will get you back on an even keel again. We ALL need to keep those serotonin levels up!! Ideally the natural way without medication/anti depressants. However, medication can help put you on the right path if you feel you need a little support for starters. IT can even SAVE YOUR LIFE!! Give a google for more info. IT is the serotonin level that makes or breaks us!! See your doctor, contact a local support group who know how you would be feeling. If there is a number you can call in your country to talk to more comfortably about what is going on and how you are feeling over the telephone?? THEN DO IT!! YOU ARE WORTH IT!! Please check in your own country for your service. FYI - FOR ANY AUSTRALIANS OUT THERE - CALL LIFELINE (Australia Wide ONLY) on 13 11 14. IT is the cost of a local call. I still call it on my odd dark days. AND IT IS A FREE telephone counselling service. Please look into it further for yourself if you or anyone else out there keeps continuing to feel this way. WE deserve to. We are all human beings, each one of us special, each one of us deserving to be here. Each and everyone of us fragile. Please take care. Please take how you and anyone else in your life is feeling VERY seriously when it comes to depression. And IF there is ever ANY THREAT OR FEELING OF SUICIDE?? SEEK help immediately!! REMEMBER, YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!!!!! Depression should not and is not an embarrassment or something to be ashamed of. IT is a FACT of life. But a burden and debilitating if we allow it to be OUR life. Please keep talking about it, DO NOT SUFFER IN SILENCE. EVER!!Warm regards,
Rosie =)

The best way I've found to combat depression is to get up (if you don't want to leave the bed) and start doing things. You will only feel worse and deepen the depression if you do nothing to change it. Distract yourself as much as you can, and try to build more love, joy and peace into your life. Love and purpose give a reason for living, not having a new car, b/f, g/f, or other transitional things.
Know that you deserve love and have a purpose, one much bigger than you are, and no matter how others or life make you feel, it is not the truth. Understand that what you are going through is common to many. Step out of the depression, not in. Each day we are given (even when it doesn't seem that way) is a gift. We never know if we have a tomorrow.
Not the best years of my life.
Thanks for that Rosie.
I still can't leave the house on certain days of the week,what with that and all the other things that go with the illness,my life is pants.
Rejection however puts me in a bad frame of mind even today.
Meeting new people is a cure for depression.
Now is the time for women to become part of the solution instead of continuing to be part of the problem.
