Dear Hn2009, I live in an island and I know how it is. We were hit by a Tsunami in 2004 and it was a pretty devastating experience. Living in an island is a beautiful experience, but yeah, it has its own terrifying loneliness, when it comes to deal with the Ocean!! Let’s hope and pray that “She” won’t get into a rage and will let us live in peace.

Take Care. God bless you

I remember watching a movie years ago about a volcano blowing up on Hawaii and triggering a huge tsunami. It scared me to bits. . . . . . . and it was only a movie!

Thankfully not much eventuated last Sunday. But at least in the Pacific you had some warning. Sri Lanka & other countries had no idea what was about to hit them after the Indonesian earthquake.

And lets not forget the people in Chile who are doing it hard at the moment.
Hi Hn2009

Thankfully, you are okay! I too live on an island but we have not had any major scares for as long as I can remember.

However, looking on at the rest of the world, I can only feel a sense of sadness for all the people who have lost loved ones at the hands of natural disasters. Then, I look around and there are so many others dying at the hands of their own humankind and that angers me! As a believer of God, I can only imagine that the time for His second coming is even nearer than we think! So the repentance steps in and I fall to my knees and beg for forgiveness for all my wrongs and pray that I will be one of those fortunate enough to make it into Heaven... That's all I can do in times like these!

Have a great day and be thankful you are alive!
