my poetry my world ... sunrise

Sunrise

The moon is up, the stars are bright,
I can see the shadow of the moon in your eyes.
The wind is silent and coyotes sleep tonight
But I hear the scream of the innocent lamb in your heart.
There are no clouds on the sky, it looks beautiful tonight,
No sign of rain, no lightnings, no thunders, no storm.
The water in the lake seems to be steady and calm
But I see the hurricane that razes your dreams to the ground.
Your gentle soul cries giant tears that make the earth shake
And your wounded heart trembles like a volcano before eruption.
On the window of your eyes blood streams down like rain,
Somebody killed your hope and you were drowned in pain.
Hush now, honey don’t cry because the sun’s gonna arise.
Now it’s night, but morning won’t forget to come
And the rising sun will fill you and heal you with its light.
