I wonder

what it is, and why honest men never get ahead with a lady? What did we do? I have been told many times that I am too good and honest for this planet. Are women only looking for gangsters? As a child, I watched my father play around with other women, cheating on my mother andblew our whole family apart. I swore as a child that I will never be like my dad and I am very proud that I raised myself to be a loyal and honest man. A good man. So, I guess if the women can´t handle that, so be it! I would just like to know, what we did to deserve it?

I too wonder sometimes, the genuine and honest people have no place in this world. I admire you alot for trying to be a good person inspite of your childhood negative experiences. Do not glued to those things and think over and over again. I feel, that a genuine and honest lady might come across very soon. Good Luck !

I know what you mean! This last relationship was with a woman Doctor, she only thought of herself and having me do all the remodeling in the house. Cool, Huh? Anyway, I was a CWO with the 1/2 Cav here in Bindlach durring the 1st Gulf, They took my kids (Troops) and my tanks, but not me, they said that since I was wounded (zapped, shot) 3 times, shot down twice, I couldn´t go. Broke my heart cause, I needed to be with my kids. We lost one!

What I have experienced is that men have to have respect for themselves,and that means not allowing a woman to treat them badly.They need to challenge women and be more assertive,if you allow women to treat you badly you will loose the respect I mentioned....eg.stand up for yourselves,dont do everything she asks,tell her you love her a lot.....and.... dont ever say it if you dont mean it.....do your own thing..but..be there for her also.Its difficult to meet a partner and stay together...but when you do....treat her well...express your feelings..listen to her...but remember love yourself too.......it will show that you are no pushover and worthy of love.Hope this helpsyay

I wonder many times too. People said "sorry, but you are too kind" doh

But recent days, I heard one of my friends told me that he will dating a kind-hearted woman. He said she is good woman of God.

Stay in your place. Stay good, honest, and gentleman. Many women like that kind of personality. I do {smile and blush}

It's the same way with honest women too, my friend. But in regards to where you are coming from, I met this amazing guy online through another site and we hit it off soooooo well. He's funny and totally transparent, open and honest. I LOVE it! I feel like I can talk to him about anything and I do. He's really great, but not interested in me because of distance.
I also met another guy whom I thought I hit it off with too. I'm totally honest with him about anything he'd ask me, but yet I find that he likes to go days without talking to me one bit. Needless to say, he's playing games with me. Honest people seem to get the worst of the worst people, but being honest and true to your values will pay off. I'm certain of it. Hey, I gotta have faith (:
