Life In Aussie

Ok so I have een here a month now and have manage to find a job, I find Aussie to be a pretty laid back place with everything taking its time, such as medi card, well I cant get that till I get a pay slip from work to prove that I'm living in Aussie and not just visiting, fftn number, I cant get that till I get my medi card as I.D, and then there's my ob well I cant get on the roster till I get my Hep B jab, I have no medi care card so have to pay out just over $200 for the jab, lol so funny everything seem so back to front here, But I'm just going with the flow and taking one day at a time, Thats all I pretty much can do for now,

Congratulations Julie4 on your new life in Australia! Your tenacity and fortitude are admirable. What did you do and where did you live before you settled in Australia?

David.
10K, every snake in Austrailia is poisonous, so I would be more worried about the snakes than the spiders.
Not all snakes are that bad here, You have to live out further before you hit the big snakes, Spiders well yes I have seen one and I thought that was bad, But no thay get much bigger then that mmm ok, I now sleep with flyspray can next to my bed, I still cant get over the rattling of the leaves when I go out for a walk the lizards darting off, still makes me jump,
