23rd March 1930 : Time to remember Bhagat Singh bu

Bhagat singh, the name which
is synonyms to selfless
devotion to the country. The
name which stands for
courage , revolution , bravery
and stand for freedom and
communal harmony. Bhagat
singh , the man who divided
for united India at age of 23.
23 is age when one dreams of
becoming rich and famous
some day. 23 is age when one
thinks chasing girls is what
entire world does. 23 is age
when we are full of energy and
want to start our careers. At
that age a man died for his
country along with sukdev and
raaj guru. Died because he
wanted people to make sure
that country becomes free. He
dreamt of revolution which
might get triggered by his
death.
I have written this before and
I am writing this again.
Personally I believe we need
bhagat singh more in 1947
era . We got independence
when mahatama , sardar and
most of their team members
were too old. The people who
had paid heavy price in terms
of years and their lives against
british empire were either
death or old . Bhagat singh
would have been 40 during
time of independence had he
lived and that would have
given atleast 30 years of
prompt leadership to India.
Ironically bhagat singh had
more trust on Indian people
and choosed to go get
arrested which was like signing
a death warrant . He was
hanged on 23rd march 1930
but he still remains one of
biggest heros of India.
His body was hanged but
legend of bhagat singh
continue to live. He died
physically but he remains alive
among Indians but….he
remains alive as some one
great selfless revolutionary
who should be remembered
every 23rd of march.
As a nation we have indeed
come a long way. From kismet
inclined Indians we have
evolved to taking charge of our
lives. From meeting ends we
have evolved to being more
confident about our future.
From snail paced economy we
have evolved to 2nd fastest
growing economy . If that is
one side of story , other side
of story is that we have
evolved into a corrupted
cultured country. I dare to
used corruption as culture
term because while we blame
government for corruption ,
we are ready to let our money
talk to get what we want
whether it is correct or not. If
someone gets bribe it is us
who gives those bribe. In a way
we have accepted bribe as
way of life.
As a nation during days like
23rd march or 15th august or
26/1 or 26/11 or 2nd oct when
we may homage to mahatams
or bhagat singhs or sardars or
to countless people who put
every thing on stake to see
freedom , we have
opportunity to introspect too.
In India today conclave ,
someone asked Dr
manmohan singh about lack of
role models and whom should
nation followed, his reply was
our founding fathers!!!!!!!!!
Other side of the answer was
we dont have any other than
our founding fathers. Real
tribute to bhagat singh would
be to work for nation which he
dreamt for/ Cultivating a
culture which is intolerant not
to religion but to corruption.
Culture where merit is
important than ‘mera baap
kaun hai’. Culture where
excellence is more important
than ‘chalta hai’. Till then
bhagat singh and likes of
bhagat singh would be mere
history chapter.

nice, both our cultures suffered at the hands of the british, we had them for 800 years and they are still here, shooting innocent people on the street only 40 years ago
i reckon he would turn in his grave, to see the freedom you enjoy today, at the hands on India's corrupt politicians, its time for a new, Bhagat Singh, but where is he ?
