Ah I love those letters, still sometimes take them and just smell the amazing aroma of paper and ink! I used to perfume mine and to put a lipstick kiss in the bottom lips And my then bf used to draw beautiful flowers for me :) Also we drew our hands on the paper to say Hi! and he put dried flower petals in the envelope! Not to mention that he once had written something with his blood but it actually disgusted me laugh

Even the ritual of choosing the finest colored paper, the beautiful envelopes, the post cards... was amazing! I even chose the pen which wrote in the best way... Romantic years....

I used to do that too Ariel, on my teenage years. And I still do keep those letters now I have received in a box at home. Almost all of them faded colors (the paper), turn into something yellow.

Here's one of the simple letters I have written to one of my male friends, right after I begin college far from my friends. Memories.
