yeah my favorite singer

listening to Elvis greatest hits album....only singer who ever made me scream....remember running home to watch his movies...i have the tape of his Oloha from Hawaii performance...first satellite concert ever...remember watching that live!! One of my fav songs is, You Gave me a Mountain, amonst so many others...my father was a big fan...remember my Dad teaching me to sing playing his guitar with me at his feet. God rest his soul...anyways Christmas music was his Christmas album ...grew up on Elvis...well my Dad was 18 when i was born...so he was a lot of fun!wine

ps my Dad gave up his career as a pro pitcher in the minor leagues w me on the way, and became a GM executive at the age of 18...what a man!!cool

Hi, whisper...thanks...I know what u mean...I loved him so much, my fav rocker of all time...and his Gospel music also...and remembering when I was in Vegas yrs ago in 1980 being at the Hilton where he use to perform and how people talked about him, what a great guy, and so generous to them...i will share this w u i remember hearing that if life was fair Elvis would be alive and all the impersonators would be dead...(excuse me, no one comes close to the King of Rock and Roll!)cool

Another great one...Always on My Mind...geeezzz getting kinda weepy...cause my deceased hubbie traveled ALOT and so this song was dedicated to me...also first time I ever heard his rendition of I Love Her So...i think i like it simple like that just how McClain wrote it and performed it himnself...his concert here in the Bend a few yrs ago he mentioned Elvis and what a great, great performer he was!!cool
