I have a friend who has been fighting for over 2 years to bring his fiancee to the USA. He visits her ever 6 months, they have had a large traditional engagement party and yet her Visa hasn't been approved because immigration isn't convinced this is a real relationship.
Maybe if she were European verses Vietnamese it would go easier? See, where we live we have the largest Vietnamese population in the world outside of Vietnam.
