"LISTEN"

I couldn`t imagine not hearing a sound.I might fear there is no one around.......There might be a bird,somewhere sitting in a tree.I wouldn`t hear it cherping,nor singing,no,not me.......I`d never know where a train was coming from,or if I watched a parade and couldn`t hear the beat of a drum......I couldn`t imagine not hearing a baby cry.Especially if it needed me,and I wouldn`t know why......I couldn`t imagine not hearing fireworks light up the night.There`d be no crackle,no popping to add to the sight......I couldn`t hear a song,-if I could sing.Or even a squeak,if I sat on a swing.......I couldn`t imagine God`s voice speaking to me. -But I know He`s there,in everything I see. (Dedicated to my dear friend/& client George,96,now gone,but never forgotten).
