Ice Storm

They say New England weather is unpredictable and absolutely crazy
I have to say, I agree..
see, where I live is part of "New England"
Its almost springtime!
First we get a snowstorm, burying my truck in the dreaded white stuff...
Sunk in over my knees just trying to dig it out
Them temps drop into the single digits.....and at times about 15-20 below (in Fahrenheit) for a week
Gosh darn breeze would freeze the air before it hit your lungs
Well then, mother nature decided to be a tease and gave us some sunshine and 50's
Half the snow has melted away
But last night.....I woke up in the middle of the night
Howls.....loud banging...the loud sound of ice hitting the windows....large objects being dragged about
Extreme high winds, swirling ice and snow squalls....ice coated everything
Outside the wind still howls.....the banging of things against the house.....the swaying of the trees out front
The picture below only showing the slight pauses of the storm in a still photo
I miss spring.....the sweater weather and the summer beach weather and even the colorful fall
As I daydream of warmer weather, outside the ice storm still continues uh oh
